In order to succeed in this online course, you must be comfortable working with technology. At a minimum, you must possess the following technical skills:
- Ability to use the Internet in an effective and efficient manner, including installation and management of browser plug-ins and add-ons.
- Basic knowledge about the operation of a computer, file management, and software installation.
- Working knowledge of the Canvas learning management system.
- Ability to proficiently search the web for information
- Ability to download and print information from websites
- Ability to download, view, and/or print PDF files

Course Policies
This is an online course; you are expected to log in at least 2-3x times a week for possible updates. Check your NVCC email accounts at least twice a week for possible email updates
Late Work Policy:
All assignments are submitted through Canvas. No LATE ASSIGNMENTS are accepted after the due date. If Canvas in down, you may email me the assignments. A zero will be given for all late assignments unless discussed with the instructor. Start your assignments early. Unless you have a documented explanation that has to be approved prior by the instructor.
Grading Turnaround Time:
All completed assignments will be graded no later than seven days after the due date, and sooner when possible. After your grade has been posted to your gradebook account. You will have a total of 7 days to contest any grade. After the 7th day the grade will remain posted in your gradebook including zeros.
